Our Qualifications



Originally established as a partner to Darrow Electric, Inc., SC Pool and Spa Works has grown into its own full service organization.
As of 2002 SC Pool and Spa Works is the only pool and spa supply store and service center located within San Clemente.  Our team has over 25 years experience in troubleshooting and repair. We have built a team of professionals that work together to provide a new experience in reliable pool service to all of Orange County.  As a Premier warranty center for all of the Industry leaders we participate in continued education programs that keep us on the cutting edge of product developments, enhancements and continued maintenance.  We have built our customer base through networking by providing excellent customer service, expert repair, and fast response. Max Koby

President and co-founder of SC Pool and Spa works. Lead in sales and business development for both commercial and residential properties. Certified Pool Operator, Water Chemistry Certified, Factory Trained Technician. My goal is, "To meet and exceed customer expectations, to earn a raving fan!"

Darrow Jensen

Co-founder and certified master electrician licensed by the CA state license board, with more than 25 years experience.

Danielle Carmody

Office Manger, helps keep thetcustomer in direct contact with their technician by reporting comments and concerns, available during business hours to answer billing or service questions. Works with the technicians directly Communicating and meeting customer needs.

Experienced Repair Technician with over 8 years experience in the swimming pool industry. State Licensed C-53 swimming pool contractor, Certified Pool Operator, Water Chemistry Certified, Factory Trained Technician. Always on Call to help with technical support.

Repair Technician, Certified Residential and Commercial Service tech. Factory trained.

We are your one stop shop for all your pool and spa needs! We have Friendly and professional pool service experts always available for your calls. Factory trained repair technicians on staff and all service techs are certified pool operators. We provide fast and reliable service with radio response. All repairs are flat-rate based on industry standards and service customers recieve 15% off all repairs and 10% off in-store purchases. We have an automated answering service to better serve your needs, online account access, Automated Credit Card processing for your convenience, Chemical quality is superior to big box stores, and we have online shopping available for discounted rates. We pride ourselves on service and regularly inspect all properties to ensure that our high quality of service is being maintained. If you ever have a question or problem just let us know and we will be more then happy to better serve your needs.

Our pool CLEANING TECHNICIANS are paid for TIME IT TAKES TO DO THE JOB, not how fast the job can be done. They carry company provided cell phones that match GPS tracking and timesheet software so we can accurately monitor their time on your property. The cleaning tech has on-thespot access to a member of his support team via walkie-talkie, and he or she can trouble-shoot problems on the spot. In an emergency, we are one click away from matching the nearest technician to the trouble spot with the click of a button.

QUALITY CONTROL: After services are rendered each service tech will leave behind a door knocker explaining services completed at that time, anything that needs attention will be marked and reported. Every door knocker also has a carbon copy which is turned in at the end of each day with timesheets and problem report forms. Each of our pool service accounts is evaluated periodically by a dedicated service manager on fifteen specific criteria. Our inspector grades each technicians performance, and in the case of a perfect report card, technicians are rewarded with a cash bonus. When problems are encountered, however, they are addressed immediately through continued training and remediation.

EMERGENCY? We utilize a live 24-hour emergency service —just call our office 24 hours a day and be connected to a REAL PERSON at our emergency service, ext 911. We provide 24-7- 365 emergency services to our contract customers.
